
Chocolate chip cookie mix in a jar is a delicious edible gift that is easy to make! It only takes a few ingredients and all the recipient has to do is add the wet ingredients and bake.

How to make a cookie mix in a jar
You will need:
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Place flour mixture in a 1 quart jar. Layer remaining ingredients in order listed above, pressing firmly after each layer. Seal with lid.
Make a tag or label with the following:
Mixing Directions. Preheat oven to 375° F. Mix 1 1/2 sticks softened butter, 1large egg, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract in a bowl until blended. Add cookie mix and mix well breaking up any clumps. Drop by tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Makes about 2 dozen cookies.
